Setting up operator
In this article, we will explain how to add, manage and customize your operator’s accounts.
Add a new operator
To add a new operator to your chat, log into your Microchat panel and click on your avatar in the top-right corner. Next, click on Operators and then click on Add New Operator or another option is- Click on Setting>Operators and then click on Add New Operator
In the new window, enter your new operator’s name and email address and select permission. Your new operator will receive an email (to the address you provided) with a login link to their Microchat account.
The new operator can change their password by going to Settings > Operator and clicking on Action>Reset Password.
Managing your operators
To add or manage your operators, go to the Settings section and select the Operators tab. Here you are able to add, remove or view an operator from your chat.
How to customize your operator profile
You can change the operator settings at any time. Just click the Operator’s avatar in the upper-right corner of the panel and select Profile (or simply click the bigger avatar/name that has just appeared).
In this section, you can change the Operator’s name, Timezone and Change Password.
