Setting up notification sound

In this article, we will explain all the notification sound settings that are available in your Microchat admin panel.


At Microchat, we differentiate the following notifications:

  • New Chat Requests – for all the new chats, started by your website visitors, which comes to the ‘unassigned’ folder inside the Microchat conversation panel

  • New Messages – for all the new messages sent to you by your website visitors.

  • New Incoming Visitors – for all the new website visitors entering your website.

  • Offline Email Notifications – to receive all the chat conversations to your email address during your offline mode. To learn more, check out our article about Offline Email Notifications.

Notifications

To set your Microchat Web Panel notifications, head over to the Settings >Chat Setting>Enable Notification Sound section in your Microchat Admin panel.

In the Notification section of your Microchat admin panel, you can set up the; New Chat Request notifications, New Messages notifications, and New Incoming Visitors notifications
